If you're wondering which equipment is REQUIRED for your class, please view the class description. If no equipment is listed in the class description, then the equipment below is optional.
If you're looking for something that isn't listed here, feel free to ask for a recommendation at info@cirque-ability.com and we'd be happy to make a recommendation.
A small panel mat around 2.5' x 6' is perfect for our online 7 & under kids classes and for adult core conditioning/flexibility classes too. Panel mats are ideal because in addition to padding a hard floor, they can also be folded up which is great for cartwheel drills and landings.
The the most affordable option that we recommend is the Ikea Plufsig mat.
For older kids or adults working on tumbling beyond the basics, we'd recommend a longer panel mat (see options below). We love Tumbl Trak products.
There is so much progress that can be made at home with a chin-up bar. Upper body and core strength is key for aerial progression.
It is more than possible to return to in-gym classes stronger than when you left. Additionally you'll continue to build up your hand strength and callouses. A bar will continue to benefit your aerial practice in combination with in-gym aerial classes as well!
Over door bars are nice because you get a bit more height and there is no install. These models require good technique when training and swinging at all is not safe.

This is a good option for kids and some adults. Taller adults should consider a taller model.
This is a good chin-up bar option for those who also have kids working on bar skills like pullovers or hip circles. Swinging on this bar is permitted.
Great for beginners to work on chin-ups, pullovers and more.
This bar is easy to quickly fold up and move.

Did you know kids should get 60 active minutes everyday to stay healthy? With remote learning, this can be a challenge. These Garmin watches are great for seeing if your child is getting enough physical activity at home. They have character ones and other themes as well. They also have an app with tasks that can be completed for rewards!
A kids gymnastics bar is perfect for building upper body & core strength. We have firsthand experience with the home kip bar and would strongly recommend it. It's great for working chin-ups, leg lifts, pullovers, swings and more! Many of the skills you can learn on a home bar transfer to trapeze and hoop. Please remember that kids should never be upside down on their bar without direct supervision and/or "spot" and proper matting is recommended for anything other than strength training.
For this class, ideally you'll have a carpet, panel mat or other padded surface. We also recommend a starter ball and ribbon at a low price point, but you're welcome to purchase professional grade rhythmic equipment as well.
Learn how to juggle! We have a class on Fridays for all ages to help!
Tumbl Trak Panel Mat We strongly recommend a panel mat that is at least the length of a cartwheel for all tumbling classes.
This is one of our favourite home training mats. It's versatile and works great as a tumbling mat, a block, hopscotch or balance beam. At 3 x 12 feet, it's long enough to stretch out your cartwheels, but small enough to fold and store away.
For our flexibility classes, please have something near by like a chair or couch to use as an additional level. Some coaches may ask you to purchase yoga blocks for your class as well. They are very handy to modify stretches and adjust intensity.
This is an affordable solution to make your hard floor more workout friendly!
Versatile and so useful to vary home exercises and change intensity. Aerialists may find these useful for rotator cuff exercises.
